Cancellation Policy
By booking a service with SCG Law and Language, you acknowledge and agree to the following policy: Our services may include document review, notarization (including Remote Online Notarization), apostille processing, certified translation, and administrative support for domestic and international use. To ensure accuracy and compliance, we often begin with a document review and guide before proceeding. Document Review & Consulting Any review, analysis, or guidance provided regarding your document is considered a professional consulting service. This may be included at no additional cost only when you proceed with and complete the full requested service (such as notarization, apostille, or translation). If you choose not to continue after receiving guidance, a consulting fee will apply. Payment Requirements Payment may be required in full or in part before services begin. No documents will be processed, notarized, or submitted without payment confirmation. Third-party costs (government fees, shipping, platform fees, or consular fees) are separate and non-negotiable. Service Initiation Services are considered initiated once we review your documents, provide corrections or recommendations, prepare drafts, or offer technical guidance. At that point, time and expertise have already been allocated to your request. Cancellations & Refunds Once services have begun, cancellations do not waive payment for work already performed. Consulting, document review, and administrative services are non-refundable once delivered. Government fees, notarization fees, apostille fees, translation services, and third-party expenses are also non-refundable once processed. Client Responsibility You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information and reviewing all documents before final submission. We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or incorrect information. Important Notice While we follow standard requirements for notarization and international document use, final acceptance is determined by the receiving authority (e.g., government agencies or consulates) and cannot be guaranteed.
